Boiled chicken thighs served with a bechamel garlic sauce. Mashed potatoes with spring onions and cheese and mashed parsnips & carrots.

Friday night was tapas in a really good Spanish restaurant and last night was Chinese take away with a friend. Roast chicken and rice salad tonight I think or fish cakes - whichever needs to be used up.

The remains of the night before's dinner -  bolnegnese and pasta. I sloshed some wine into it, added cheese sauce and cheese and baked it till it was crispy on top.

I love raw garlic too. We got some smoked garlic for Christmas and it was so good with cheese. I keep  meaning to make garlic soup.

Yum! I made pasta for the first time before Christmas and was  addicted. It's so much better than any pasta I have tasted - even in Italy. I have a cheap pasta machine. I made ravioli and tagliatelli.
