41  Re: Easy Postcard Swap -- Round 2 -- Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by Saor on: November 18, 2006 05:30:42 AM

This was the first one I got - it's  from Novastarlet. It's really cute. It would look good on a t-shirt. The stamps are really cute too though I haven't scanned them yet. I am going to put this up in my work space.

Then I got this from Alexandra. It's from the National Museum. There is loads of detail to see in it. There is a great leering expression on the face of the fauns and some cool peacock feathers.

I just got this one. It's from Shelikestars. I have a friend from Washington and her mother is from one of the three cities. She told me some of the history of the  area. Btw Amanda,Siobhan  is a fairly common name in Ireland. It was very popular around the time I was born 30-odd years ago. It's the Irish for Jane/Jean.

I just got this one too from Eccles2003. It's a great painting of Uluru done by a mouth and foot artist. Strangely enough the same day I got a sample of Xmas cards from the Irish branch of the mouth and foot artists. There is also apparently a curse on anyone taking a stone from Uluru!

This is red jasper chips, green freshwater pearls, sterling silver with a chrysocolla pendant.

I love this one. It reminds me of a  peaty stream with coloured stones and pebbles. Botswana agate, clear agate and sterling silver. I made the clasp myself which I am very proud of Grin

Pineapple quartz  pendant with carnelian, honey jade and glass beads and amber chips.

My first attempt at wire knitting. Silver wire with red glass on memory wire.
