This is what I did this weekend. Two candleholders that you can hang in the window, and one candleholder to place on you're table. All the three candleholders are old glassjars I had at home. I "polished" the glassjars with some special tools I had at home. I used stealwire to hang them up in the window. This is also my very first "polished" glassjars I've ever made. I just wanted to try it, and well, I'm very happy how it turned out and it was really fun too! Here they are:
Without a candle in it
And lighted up
And here are the other ones
These are my tools, the pink one I used when I polished all the sides on the first candleholder, and the other with the round "head" I used when I polished the flowers.
So, I'm not sure where to put this topic, maybe here, maybe somewere else, but I'll try to put it here. It's a little hard to explain what it is but maybe the pictures will help you understand, and I will try to explain it for you as well. So it's a bunny, as you can see, but if you open up the back of the bunny you will find a little bag there, filled with rise. You take that out and warm it up in the oven or the microwave, for a little while, and then you put it back in the bunny, and now you have a warm bunny next to you when you're feeling cold!
So this is my first aquarelle painting I've ever made! And I'm so happy how it turned out! Fist it was going to be an angel, but in the end I changed it to a princess, isn't she cute? I wounder what she's dreaming about?
This is a project I started a long time ago, but didn't finished it, but now I have! And I'm so happy how it turned out So the bag is all made out of linen, nothing else but linen, the outside and the inside of the bag , the birds, the leaves and the tree. It took some time to sew on the tree and the leaves, but it was quite fun actually! I made the button myself, I took an old button I had and glued on some white linen fabric, the same as the outside of the bag, so that they could match eachother. I had to finished it today since I'm going to Italy tomorrow, yeah! So here it is, my new summerbag!
This is a painting I finished today, and I'd like to call it "Midnight". I found it hard to decide if it should be day or night, but after a while a decided that it should be midnight. I'm very happy with the result! So here it is!
And in case it doesn't shows in the picture, it suppose to be water between the sky and the lawn.
I've just finished the first top I've made all by my self!( I just got a little help from my older sister, at the back of the top! ) I'm very happy with it! I'm turning 15 in July, so maybe I'll wear it on my birthday. It wasn't that hard to make it ,but you have to think very much before you sew it. I also sew on white fabric inside the top so that it wouldn't shine through. So here it is, my summertop!
Close up at the fabric
And this is what my sister helped me with, at the back of the top!
