Hello craftsters! This is a little different painting in aquarelle I've made. I wanted to try something new and looked for some inspiration, before I decided to do something like this. I'm very pleased with the results, planing on making an other one really soon! It was great fun!    I'd love to hear your thoughts people!  (sorry for the bad photo-quality!)

New painting I've made in aquarelle! Didn't really had a plan figured out while making this, just kind of went with the flow and let the paint speak for itself.   When I look at it now afterwards, all I can think of is outer space and the beautiful universe we have that embrace our living planet. What do you think of when looking at it? I'd love to hear your thoughts!  

Hey everyone!  

This is a creation I did in school for a project we were working on called "Sublove". We were separated into different groups and had to agree on a subculture that we would like to learn more about, how they are treated in today's society and how their lifestyles are like on a daily basics etc., and since I'm studying my last year in school right now,(educating myself to be a florist), we also had to express some kind of love in a work of art with flowers that would fit in to this subculture we choose to work with, therefor the name of the project was called "Sublove". Other groups had chosen subcultures like hippies, mafia, lolita and graffiti etc. When we first started out with working on this project we had a date set out when we were gonna do a fashion show were models would wear our creations and show it on a runway in front of a audience.

So me and my groupmates decided to choose Drag Queens as a fun subculture to explore and learn more about. It took me about 10 hours to get the hat completely done. I was working on doing the "construction" of the hat split into a couple of days before it came down to the actual day of the fashion show. That day we all spend about 10 hours in school desperately trying to make our very own creations to look as good as they possibly could. That's when I put on all the flowers and attached it to the hat. We all freaked out a little at the end cause we had a deadline when everything had to be done, but I made it in time like everyone else and on the runway all the models turned out to look absolutely amazing! I was really pleased with the result of my hat, and I hope you'll like it as well.  

I'm sorry I only have one picture of the model with the hat on, but I was backstage when they did the runway so I wasn't able to take any pictures! One of my classmates recorded the whole show, and when I get it from her maybe I could upload a link here on craftster to show you if that's possible.

So here he is, my Drag Queen model (Yes, it's a guy) Haha!

Hello craftsters!  

I was just wondering if anyone knows were I can find a pattern to make a prom dress like this one?   I really like the design of this dress and would be so thankful if someone here on craftster could help me with finding a pattern for a dress similar to this one!

P.S: Don't mind the "bling bling" thing around her waist on the right side, because I don't think I want to have that thing there anyway if I would make one myself    

Hello everyone!

It's been a long time since I posted something here on craftster, but now I've finished a project that I've been working on for a few days that I would like to share with you all. This is a portrait of a guy called Edward Grimes, if anybody knows who I'm talking about?  Maybe the younger craftsters out there have heard of the two twins who call themselves for Jedward and that performed a song called Lipstick representing Ireland in the Eurovision song contest knows who he is? Haha! Either way this is a portrait that I've made of him and I would be more than happy to hear what you all think about it.
