It's a lot less fussy than you think. I kept putting off making one because I thought it was too hard, but once I got everything layed out and ready to go, it went together quite quickly. 

I finally dragged out the beading goodies yesterday and made a Tree of Life pendant. I used adventurine and sterling silver



and one with my hand in there so you can see the size



This one is for my sister and there is another I'm working on for myself. I have plain flat disk garnets(would act as an apple) and I'm debating adding one... just one to each tree. I think it would be a really cool feature and add to the meaning of the tree. *shrug* I'll update the pic's if I decide to add it.

I love, love. LOVE how you left the pins long. This is such a fresh and new look for beaded bracelets. I make simular bracelets and I have to agree.... once you have a little system set up it only takes about an hour.   Great work... you should get back into beading... you're very talanted!

Sounds like a wild and crafty night. Just the thing I might need! I've got a few more crazy weeks ahead of me, but I'm hoping that by the time Halloween is over I'll be able to stop by. NO... scratch that... by the time Halloween is over... I'll need to stop by

Just wonderin' if this is more of a collage crowd or can an old lady who knits and crafts join in... ok I'm not that old... 42ish. Would I be like an old wet sock in on the bathroom floor in the middle of the night? I'm strange so that might be a plus 

We set a graveyard every year. This year we changed things up a bit and I made all new tombstones. In fact we're getting a late start setting things up this year. I just finished painting the stones this evening. The weather is suppose to be crappy tomorrow, but I should have the yard set up by Saturday. I'm a little sad that we may not be able to display our flying crank ghost (made entirely  by me! lol) this year as we tinted the front windows of our mobile home and I don't think it will be visable. So I'll share a pic of it from last year. If I can figure out a way to hide the stand up fan I used to power the ghost on our porch I'll set it up on Halloween night only.

Anyway... here's the pic... the arms and head move up and down at different times... It really freaked people out.

ohhh this may be just the thing to do to get my 11 y/o goth kidster to where handmade socks! I know he's gonna flip when he see's these! They so totally rock my socks!

I'm a little behind in responding... so sorry. When it's snowing the only thing on my mind is snow removal

The yarn is dyed with good old Kool-Aid. Lemon, Orange, Lime and Grape. Even though I call it "With a twist of Lemon" I spun one ply with purple only so the purple is the color that twists around the others. I can remember the name of the sewing stitch I used to attach the lining, but it's the same stitch used for hemming... a blind stitch? It stretches a little bit with the outside of the purse... next time I think I'll attach the lining on folded over part of the knit that folds over the handle. I got this bacis idea from the Carol Devaull show.

Hope I've covered everyone questions.... if not I'll jump back in here later. Right now it's snowing like a bat out of you know where and I have to go drive in it to get the kidster from school....
