1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Bzzzzzz Laptop Sleeve on: December 04, 2006 11:42:37 PM
http://www.runawaysquirrels.com/blogblog/wp-content/uploads/2006/12/laptopsleeve.jpg
I needed a laptop sleeve to protect it while it's in my regular bag when I don't want to lug around my laptop bag.  I was getting tired of the usual black neoprene sleeves that everyone had, so I made my own with this leftover fabric I found.  I think I made it a little too snug, but hopefully the padding thins out and it'll be a perfect fit.

Sewing through padding is such a PAIN.  I want to make a matching DS Lite sleeve with the leftover material, but I don't know if I can handle sewing through padding again.

Yay for iron on velcro!
2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: 1-UP and Power-up Mushroom Amigurumi! on: November 03, 2006 04:31:49 PM
Oh god, those are so awesome.  Are you going to write up a pattern? I want to make some now!

Aw, very cute. I want to punch it for some reason though.
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: A Black Mage FFIV - I did not make the bear on: November 03, 2006 04:25:32 PM
That's adorable!  I wish I could make a white mage costume for my stuffies.
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Nintendo DS Lite Case on: August 22, 2006 11:34:56 AM
I wasn't satisfied with any of the cases I found in the stores. They were either too bulky, too big, or too ugly, so I made my own. Out of some cheap fabric I got at the store for $1.99 a yard.

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: iPod Cozies on: April 03, 2005 12:25:51 AM
Here is my contribution.  I liked the iPod sock idea, but I also liked the furry cover idea, so being too lazy to make 2, I combined them.

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Fuzzy Phone Bed on: December 27, 2004 11:58:19 PM
I made this fuzzy phone bed a couple days ago. The story behind this bed was that I was going to frog a fuzzy scarf I knitted a few months back, but it was so hard to rip apart, I just gave up halfway. I didn't know what to do with the one and a half foot remaining part of the scarf and then, I thought about the kitty bed in Stitch 'n Bitch. I don't have a cat, but I have a phone! I wrapped the half scarf around a roll of packing tape, sewed it, and now my phone has a fuzzy bed to call its own.

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Ridiculously easy mary-jane slippers! (with pattern) on: September 22, 2004 12:49:47 AM
To make they less slippery on hardwood floors, you can just go get those stickers they sell at hardware stores (or the 99 cent store) that you use to stick on bathroom tiles.  I don't know what they're called, but a long time ago, we stuck them to the bottom of our bathtub so that it wasn't so slippery.

I think they would work if you stuck them to the bottom of the mj's too.
9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Felt Domokun monster on: August 17, 2004 06:36:37 PM
I'm surprised no one made this yet, but as soon as I saw the Nina-monsters, I wanted to make my own felt domokun!

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re:Knee socks and a bag! on: April 10, 2004 12:59:58 AM
The bag is really cute. It reminds me of a candycane.  And I like the furry cuffs of the sock.
