I haven't knit anything yet but I want to do the Baroque jacket.  I'm trying to decide what yarn to use.  Unfortunately, there isn't any more Brilla at Elann in a color that I want.

Here's another one finished!  I crocheted it out of Berroco Merino.  Fun pattern and I only modified the sleeves by crocheting only 4 rounds instead of 8.  Thanks for looking.

It's so fun reading about all the FO's that I decided to put one in of my own.

I finished this baby hat in a few hours.  It's just a simple top down hat w/ seed stitch edge.  I used Wendy yarn, about 1/2 skein.  The model is my mini dachshund Waldo.  He was very mad at me for making him put the hat on.  I'm starting to volunteer as a doula for a local hospital and thought it would be nice to give a hat to every baby who's birth I attend.  Don't worry, I'm going to wash the hat!!!

I'm at the front shoulder shaping.  It's hard for me to keep track of the pattern stitch at the beginning and end of the rows.  The pattern has you putting a yo to compensate for the pattern stitch but is the yo at the row where you k, then pattern stitch or just pattern stitch.  I'm sooo confused!

Has anyone started this top?  I bought the pattern from Stitch Diva and wondered if anyone wanted to join me.  I am knitting it in the recommended Lang Opal.   The start was a bit rough for me but it's coming along now.  I'd love to see pictures of any finished Goddess's.  You can find the pattern here.  www.stitchdiva.com

I started out boring and knitted scarves and hats for months.  I didn't attempt my first garment for a year and socks for a year and a half after I started knitting.  I did do lace shawls pretty much right away though.  Things w/ shaping I kinda shied away from.

I wish I had more confidence because now I realize it was just a question of practicing the decreases and increases.  I say make your first project a hat then move on to garments as soon as you have the attention span.  I tend to have multiple wips unfortunately.

Cool  .  I can't wait to add this one to my collection!

This is next in my queue.  I think I'm going to use Rowan Calmer for this.  I have 2 more WIPs to finish up first though.  LOL.
