This really is the most beautiful quilt. It looks vintage and kitchy but still really pretty. I love the combination of cats and colors. Great job!!
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: My Korean crosstitch keychains on: August 09, 2006 11:19:28 AM
What a good idea! I've been wanting to make something from the SuperMario Bros cross- stitch pattern I have for my little brother, but it's not exactly like he needs a tea towel. Thanks!

8  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: Umm.....did I do something wrong? on: August 29, 2005 09:12:21 PM
what sort of paint did you use? it sounds pretty normal to me. even shirts you buy in regular commercial clothing stores crack after a time. maybe next time you can try stretching the shirt ever so slightly while you stencil so that way it mimics how it will stretch when its on you. but i think cracked paint is cute! people pay alot of money for old cracked t shirts.

10  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: granny squares on: August 29, 2005 06:48:39 PM
I learned granny squares from Martha.  I think this pattern is pretty easy to follow, too - y'know, just as another option

i recommend starting in just one color, and then graduating to multiple ends & colors later.  not too much too soon.
