1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Need Help with Loop-D-Loop Ragamuffin Earflap Hat Pattern on: December 26, 2009 07:55:44 AM
I'm making the Ragamuffin Hat from Teva Durham's Loop-d-loop book and I am having serious issues with the fifth round of the braided cable. I'll do my best to explain my problem. If anyone has made this hat, please help!
I am on the fifth round of braided cable and the pattern says to work CSB until the last 3 stitches. Then you are to work the cable over the last three and first three stitches of the next round. The problem is that when you get to the last 6 stitches you have just finished a cable, since the cables are worked in 6 stitches. So I don't know what to do with the second to last 3 stitches of this round. I have attempted this hat three times already and it hasn't turned out. I'm determined to figure out what I'm doing wrong and I think this point in the pattern is the critical piece to the puzzle. Any help is greatly appreciated!
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Choc Unan Rd 3 Gallery of Chocolatey Goodness! on: November 06, 2008 05:18:09 PM
Here is what I received from my partner...
All together: A chocolate themed scarf and pin, 3 pair of earrings, a magnet and loads of chocolate, all of which I have never had.

I left out a bag of chocolate. It was busy being eaten.
My son has claimed the scarf. He calls it neck.

And a close up of the earrings:

Thanks for a great swap!
