When I saw this fabric I fell in love and had no idea what I was gonna do with it.  So I bought a couple yards (and plan on buying a LOT more cos I do Love it) and made this sweet circle skirt.

The hem is kinda wonky cos I cant iron the fabric (its upholstery fabric and when I attempted to iron it it just turned brown...).  Its got a side zipper that is electric blue to match the blue of the skirt and has an extended tab reaching to the front where its held down with a skull button.

So my boyfriend hasn't had a good wallet in a while (lost his good one, went back to an old one that has come up missing) so I decided to make him one.  He wanted Jerry only on it & it to say "YOU'RE BROKE!" (cos he always is).  So here it is, the Jerry Only You're Broke Wallet.

I actually wanna make myself one of these now, it was so easy...(besides the gunking up of my needles from the velcro glue)  So what do you think?

It won't retract anymore.  Does anyone know how to fix this.  I took it apart but cant figure out how to fix it.

I got the pattern from a Sublime Stitching kit (Day of the Dead) and just copied it and sewed straight onto the paper and into my fabric.  I really don't like it but everyones gotta start somewhere.

This is the final stitching.  Its on some safety green t-shirt material I had left over.  The outline, eyes, nose, and mouth are all black, the rest is a deep red color.



I added jewels for effect.



I think I'm gonna sew it onto a onesy for my friends daughter.

Any tips for the next time I do this?

Instead of sleeping last night I made this awesome bag to carry all my summer things.  Its pretty much huge.  And since I did it on a whim it doesn't have interfacing but I substituted the clear vinyl off of an old binder to give it some stiffness.  And you can change the straps (it is currently using some old bondage straps off a pair of old pants).

This was going to be the inside but once it was done I loved it more than the original outside so I think this is how I'll usually carry it.

The zebra patches are pockets that have those adorable little knots and peepholes at the top.

This is the reversible inside.



I kind winged that pocket and scrunched it up with a ribbon.  It sticks out really far but will be great to keep track of my lipstick, keys, and phone when I'm out.

This thing took about 6 hours and I still have to make it some straps, but I think it was well worth it.

But still Rock N Roll.

A while back my cousins gave me some button up shirts that I will never wear.  They're from American Eagle though so I didn't wanna give them up.  I decided to start adding western yokes to them!  Its not hard and now they will actually be worn.

Here is my first.

The fabric, Blue shirt & a lighter blue (its not as light as it looks in the picture) floral fabric.

I'm thinking of putting the lighter fabric around the top of the pocket and the cuffs later on.  I bought half a yard of the floral and still have a ton of it.

I love Pencil Skirts, but who doesn't.  So when I found out how utterly expensive they can be (and sometimes so bland!) I decided to start making em.  So, here are my first two.

The first is just plain red with a zipper closure and a zipper for the bottom slit.  It fits great, I love it.



Now, with the confidence from my first skirt I ended up making this one today.  I love love love the fabric but I swear I tore it apart and remade it at least six times.  By far the most frustrating project I've ever worked on.  I still wanna make the bottom tighter like the first skirt.  It also has a zipper closure & a zipper for a bottom slit.

This is all the stuff I've made but didnt have a camera to document it all.  Recons & from scratch.

Haven't had much time to do anything else but as soon as my many projects are finished I'll post em.

Ok, so this is my first post & My camera is kinda low quality.

So, I made these shoes from some $4 mary janes & just used stencils & fabric paint to put the Ska guy (green) & Ska Girl (pink) on the toes.  Then put some checks on the bandy part & Voila!
