1  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Personal Portfolios? on: June 13, 2007 08:23:39 AM
What if we wanted to look back on all of our various completed projects, like a sort of crafty legacy?

Wouldn't it be neat if you could have a different folder/portfolio for your FOs in each category? Like a portfolio of your completed knitting projects, another for your quilts, and another for your ATCs, etc?
2  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / [ACCEPTED] Idea: Rollover Thumbnails on: May 27, 2007 07:57:59 PM
While visiting http://news.yahoo.com, I noticed that if you mouse over some of the headlines / links a small picture and blurb pops up. This could be useful to Craftster because one could mouse over a topic and see a small, probably 100x100 pixel thumbnail of the completed project inside. If what they see piques their interest, they can click on the link and read more; if not, they can move on without wasting time and bandwidth.

I'm not sure how easily this would be implimented, but I'd throw the idea out there Wink
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Pattern Suggestions for 2sk of DK Alpaca/Silk yarn? on: April 09, 2007 07:08:37 PM
Do you know of any hat or other accessory patterns for DK weight yarn?

I have two skeins of Blue Sky Alapaca's lovely Alpaca and Silk yarn in the sapphire colorway - http://www.jimmybeanswool.com/secure-html/onlinegen/currgen/BlueSkyAlpacas/AlpacaSilk.asp
It's dk weight and 146 yds a skein- not quite enough for the scarf I started making with it  Tongue

Thanks in advance Wink
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / bias-knit 'pac man' bag on: November 22, 2005 09:37:45 AM
I found this last night and I'm wondering how to approach the bias-knit panel that makes the front of the bag. Any ideas how they managed to join the triangles together?
