31  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: more smocking samplers on: June 19, 2009 05:53:43 AM
Here is another.  Thanks for looking Smiley

32  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / more smocking samplers on: June 18, 2009 08:37:02 AM
This smocking embroidery piece just does not want to be finished.  First I thought, just add a few beads to enhance....but now I think I may in danger of completely encrusting the stitchwork with crystals before long if I can't learn when to leave good alone  Undecided

I did manage to walk away from this piece after just a few accent beads were added. Smiley

36  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: DIY sinus awesomeness. on: June 12, 2009 03:52:09 AM
You can make a PH balance solution with one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda, one teaspoon of sea salt dissolved into a pint of warm previously boiled water.  It is only good for a day if it is not refridgerated.  It can be used as an eye bath or to rinse sinuses.

I was going to suggest cross stitch embroidery as the needle is usually fairly blunt bodkin type.
