How about getting a styrofoam wreath and wrapping it in silver or gold and then pinning/sticking/gluing the jewelry on there?  I wanted to do one all in silver and pearls for a couple of Christmases now, but I have yet to get around to it.  I imagine it looking the best when it's all one base metal (gold or silver) but mixing it up would probably look really cool as well!

The instructions for uploading are really easy and it even provides you with the code to paste the pictures directly into your journal,message board, etc.  they cut you off when you exceed bandwidth, but even if you decide to pay, it's pretty cheap.  The only catch is they put a small black banner right underneath your picture with their web address.
