1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Umi Bunny amigurmi on: May 26, 2008 05:48:37 PM

A little bunny who loves the sea...

Umi is a fuzzy little blue/green colored bunny amigurumi. She also has lovely little felt flower cutouts around her eyes.

She is crocheted with various synthetic yarns and sits 6.5 inches tall from bottom to ear tip.
2  Florida / Florida: Central / Re: Central Florida crafters!! where are you?? on: June 14, 2007 07:32:21 AM
My partner and I will be living in east Orlando at the end of the month. It would be great if we could start up a central Florida stitch and bitch or craft group. We don't knit but we both crochet. I also cross stitch on occasion, embroider, make jewelry out of thrifted buttons and shrinky dinks, and illustrate on the computer.

Hope to meet some of you out there...

I made him up. I almost never use patterns as I have a hard time understanding written instructions. Besides, it's always more satisfying to make up your own designs.

Thank you everyone for all the love  Kiss

Unfortunately I don't work from patterns and I'm too lazy to write them. I usually just sit down with a skein of yarn and pick an animal to make. It just happens on the fly.

If I make a mistake I just unravel it and keep at it until I get it right but I tend to use the same body shapes over and over so mistakes are minimal.
