Knit this bag up for my sister's 23rd birthday.  The knitting itself took no time at all; it's the fabric lining that damn near killed me.  As illustrated in the photos below, hand-stitching?  So not my forte...

I used almost-but-not-quite four balls of Noro Kureyon in colorway #95.  Pattern from Handknit Holidays, a book I purchased for this pattern alone.

Hello!  Long-time lurker, first-time poster, tragically inconsistent commenter...

Just knit up [a href="http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer03/PATTdaisy.html"]Daisy[/a] from a pattern in Knitty's archives using fabulous Pakucho organic cotton.  Sorry that I don't have any model shots; at time of writing, the recipient - (daughter of my boyfriend's ex-girlfriend, good times, good times...) - is only three days old. 

Hey there!  I've been lurking about the illustrious Craftster site for a few months now and have finally decided to carpe post-em.  Whee.  

By way of introduction, I'm almost 25-years' worth of Rachel and currently call Howard County (on the edge of Baltimore) my home.

Here's my question:  Do y'all know of any good thrift stores (preferrably ones that have a decent selection of vintage fabric) in the Balt/Metro area?  Outside of the (overpriced) places in Bethesda and Tacoma Park, I'm at a loss.
