So I never got the whole 'button thing' different strokes I guess...

BUT, this is beautiful! Beautifully executed and such a wonderful way for you all to remember a special woman. Truly lovely!

I've been eyeing the double sided tape... I wonder, does it hold up for the long haul? I want to be able to show my grandkittens my scrapbook someday.

Well, I personally think you could use them as a mat for photos. Or cut them and use them to accent a plain page. Like a border, or a tag, or for color/ interest. You could cut out the characters and use them.

When I use busy papers like that I tend to use a simple layout, ie. one photo on a solid color mat without embellishments. That way it doesnt get too busy and your photos overshadowed. But that's my personal preference.

Does anyone have a great, acid free, sticks well adhesive for paper crafts? Mostly cardstock, photos cardmaking/ scrapbooking uses. I have been using good ole Elmer's but there must be something better?  Huh

Once I had these "glue/tape square" sticker things that came on a sheet on a roll. (How convienent I thought)  Cheesy Cards arrived in pieces due to said glue squares falling off.  Cry It was like sending loved ones pieces of a card and said "Here, YOU put it together!".  Undecided Someone had given these glue squares to me, in hindsight I believe they gave them to me because they were terrible. Angry Now I am afraid of alternative adhesives and I want to embrace all adhesives equally.

What do you use??

great idea! I love California Paper Goods. http://www.papergoods.com/ I follow them on facebook and they often have free paper sample give aways. They always deliver the free goods promptly! The paper is always thick with brilliant saturated color. It's like paper porn.

Thanks!!  Grin

I fell in love with the desk on sight. Got the desk a year ago, crammed it into a tiny car and drove it 45 miles home, I've been dying to put it together. It's actually Ikea. It's a glass top (they used to have several styles) and you can choose between a few choices for the 'legs'. The top is really heavy.

BEFORE: aka Beware the basement

Lets not even discuss that brown indoor/outdoor carpet with previous owner pet pee stains EWWWWW!!

Stage One:

Pyro the cat admires my floor

View from the closet (haha) The walls are less bright blue and a touch greener. More soothing... It's hard to capture true color

My desk- just waiting for my new iMac

BEA-UTIFUL! I am currently setting up my very first craft studio in the home my partner and I bought back in Nov. I now spend tons of time snooping other craft spaces. I love yours, it's so cozy.

I am not sure where the humor you claim to find in death is displayed here. If you've ever witnessed someone shoot themselves in the head, I assure you that this is not "deep", "funky", "artsy" or "humorous".
