2  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Re: Office wall... what to do next? on: August 16, 2011 07:16:57 PM
I'm thinking a smaller grouping of 2-3 black frames with photos for either side of the poster. Help balance it out, and take up a little more wall space. As for the top of the desk- I'd group the items together in 2-3 so there is a little more blank space up top, draws attention to your knick knacks and makes it look more clean.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: are these buttons too small for this blouse? on: August 16, 2011 07:13:54 PM
I dont think they're too small. What about two at the top close together and then 4-5 more evenly spaced.

totally love it! where did you get those awesome jar holders?

Not to give away my secrets but IKEA, IKEA, IKEA. They're spice holders, most of the storage on that wall came from IKEA's kitchen section.

Well I cant find the exact racks- that IKEA site drives me nuts! I also have a few magnetic knife holders, they look like black bars, they hold spice tins with various bits and pieces.

It is beautiful!! I really like your inspiration/momento cord thingy that you have stuff hanging off of. What a good idea!

Thanks! I used this: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/60075295 and it's already full. I'm thinking of hanging a second one Smiley

Thanks Smiley I am a perpetual other people's craft space lurker. I've never had my own craft space and was floored when I got this huge basement room! I think the light flooring really helps open the space up! Also, the awesome ceiling light my wife installed (it had one of those generic boring lights that look like a boob-I hate boob lights)

On my inspiration line there is a 5x7 picture of a bedroom from a magazine that has similar wall color and black and white accents. I fell in love and have been toting it around with me. One of these days I'll finish it and post proper pics. Thanks for the feedback Smiley
