Good luck!  One of my favorite veggie foods ever is falafel.  I'm pretty sure it generally doesn't have any dairy, though it's often fried and thus not so healthy.  I like to buy the dry mix, add water, and bake it. 

I love it!  I'll join as soon as I finish some of the other projects I have going right now.  This is definitely something I will make in the not-too-distant future.

I'm wondering if it would work in Noro or some other kind of self-striping yarn.  I really want mine to have multiple colors.

I don't know if this has been asked in previous threads or not - but how would you deal with them getting wet?  Is there a way of waterproofing them?  I ask because I want to try making some and I live in the rainiest town ever.

I'm really excited about it because I bought this handspun/dyed yarn at a craft show and finally found a good use for it.     I followed the pattern on page 4 pretty much exactly and I love the way it turned out.  I might have to try some more in different colors and yarns.
