Yes, my twin is graduating too.  I will be doing some scenery photos, but I wanted a few that were different.
144  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Graduation Portrait on: July 23, 2005 08:36:20 PM
Well, I couldn't find anywhere to post this, so I guess that makes it miscellaneous.

I will be graduating this year and need to have my pictures done.  My mom is taking the pictures, so I can have them however I want.  I don't have any ideas for pictures though.  We like right on Lake Superior with some beautiful scenery, but everyone does that.  I like crafting and art, and I play the cello in our orchestra.  Does anyone have some cool ideas for a picture?  I also have a twin that my mom wants to take a few pictures of us together to send to relatives and whatnot.  Any ideas would be great!

146  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Re: Crafty But Stupid: YOUR CRAFT RELATED INJURIES HERE! on: July 21, 2005 10:09:42 PM
Ahh, the many craft injuries.  One time in home ec back in 8th grade I was ironing something and ran right over my finger.  Even the school nurse laughed at me.

My best one I just remembered:
I bought one of those papasan chairs at a rummage sale [Okay okay, I didnt buy one, my mom found one one the curb after spring cleaning] that was a little broken.  The botton part was coming apart, so I figured I would just make it sturdy again with duct tape.  After a while of wrapping tape around the chair and pulling it towards me, the tape ripped.  I was using easy-rip tape and while I was pulling it toward me, it hit me in the face!  I just kept going and decided to be more careful.  I think I stopped after the third time I did it and had a bloody and fat lip for a week or two.
147  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / My Ceiling on: July 21, 2005 09:56:49 PM
Well, about four or five years ago I decided I hated white ceilings, so I painted over mine.  The pictures are a little hard to piece together because my ceiling is all squirrelly, but I think you can figure it out.  I just used flat paint.  The ceiling fan has since been replaced.  I tried to stay on the ceiling as much as possible, but it was impossible to contain the drips, so I decided just to go with it.  I like how the drips look now.
