1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Disposable Camera Swap or Photographer's Swap on: March 13, 2010 10:21:30 AM
If it's ok with the original OP (ibleedhotglue) I think I will try to start signups for this swap in another week or two.  Don't want to commandeer her swap idea, but have plenty of time to be the organizer and would love to see this swap happen!

It is more than ok to commandeer this swap.  I have never organized a swap before and this would be probably the worst time for me to try.  So I officially pass that honor to you, bethiej78.  Cheesy

Can't wait to start this swap!

Go ahead and post them when you can.  I can't seem to find the cord that connects my camera to my computer.  Eek! Smiley

Glad you like them!

I DO love them! Thanks so much!!!!
I'll post soon, unless you want to do it today.   Smiley

Sent today!  Got to the post office with just a few minutes to spare.  Geez, I hate being so darn busy!  But I loved my pages, there definitely was a moment when I wanted to just keep the ones I made and come up with others.

Oh well, fingers crossed stifflersmom likes them as much as I do!

I am so glad this finally picked up some interest.  We could always do a winter one and a spring summer one, if people were itching to get going.

Oy, everyone else is so much more on the ball then I am.  Hoping to get started this weekend.  But probably won't start until next week.

At least I have already been inspired....I think.  Undecided

I think this looks really cool. But is it necessarry to use a disposable camera or can you use a digital camera and get the pictures printed and put on a cd? It isnt a deal breaker either way I am just curious Grin

it looks pretty low stress/cost so I would totally be in!

I don't think it would be necessary to take the photos with a disposable camera.  I think the thinking behind that was that it would somehow be cheaper/easier to have them developed and put on a CD, maybe? But I think using a digital camera would totally be within the rules. Smiley

Thanks! I have been meaning to do that, but kept forgetting.

I hope there ends up being some interest in this.  My fingers are getting tired from keeping my fingers crossed.  Grin
