Where do the Crayone Shavings come into play?
That is very pretty!

The crayon shavings were the floaty stuff in the original craft I made in kindergarten.  It was a Valentine's Day project and we used pink, red, and white crayon shavings and cool tap water.  Sadly, that bottle filled up with cloudy green stuff soon therafter.

The moment I wanted to do stuff with old AOL cds, AOL stopped sending their junk mail.   Roll Eyes

Those would be really cool window curtains.

This is a glitter bottle based on a craft I made in kindergarten that used crayon shavings and crappy plastic bottles instead of good glitter and glass bottles.  I made this thing over four years ago and it has entertained me with sparkly goodness ever since.  It's very simple and takes only a few minutes to make.

I took a lovely blue glass bottle and sterilized it by rinsing it in hot water.  Then I funneled a few teaspoons of silver glitter into the bottle and filled it with more boiling water, corked it, and let it cool off.

I did the same thing with a Snapple Elements bottle that I fell in love with.  But, I filled it with larger multicolored sequins in assorted shapes.  When I poured the boiling water in, the sequins tainted the water pink.  I have since lost the bottle, sadly.
<-- This isn't the actual bottle I made, but damn, I love the lines on the thing.

30 mb of free space and 5mb free bandwidth per day.

Even better free place to host images.  100mg disk space and 2500mg bandwidth per month.  When I outgrow Ripway, this is where I'm going.

Shocked  I used a box just like that for one of the homemade Oblique Strategies decks that I sent out to some friends for New Years.  I spray painted the boxes black.  I wish I kept a picture of one of the decks, but the boxes were nice.
