I just started dental assisting school [booooo!!!]. And I get to wear scrubs to school [yayyy!!!!!]
But I can only wear certain scrubs from a certain place ordered through the school. Well I got my tops today, and  I'm in a weird situation. I'd take a pic if I could, but the tops are in the washing machine.
Anyway. The sides (left, right, under the sleeves, front, back) are really loose & baggy, but the seams around the arm holes & bottom of the tops are really tight! It's also tight around the top of the shirts (like when I stretch my arms out in front of me) And I do not have a big chest!
I dont know what to do. Is there ANY alteration I can do?! I dont have time to send out for more scrubs!!!

I was thinking about selling some of my stuff on etsy.
Is it a popular site? I didnt think many people knew about it b/c I had never heard of it until I came to craftster!
Are there any other sites similar to etsy?

My sister is going to cheer camp for a week, and she is really dreading it. She has been really down on herself lately, so I thought it might be fun to surprise her w/ something! Problem is, I cant think of much!
She's going to Florida, so I was thinking a cute beach and/or cosmetic bag, a beach towel... But thats where I get stuck! I think she is going to buy all her own travel size things like body wash & deoderant, so I dont know what else to throw in. I'm sure she will take her own camera & sunblock... I dont think she will write, but she will only be gone for a week anyway.
Maybe some sunglasses, antibac soap, a word search or coloring book? I dont know what else!
I was thinking I could throw in candy but she is self conscious about her weight!!

please help fast! She's leaving Wednesday morning!

My mother's 40th bday is in 2 weeks!!! I was thinking I should get started trying to find her a gift asap, b/c I'm having my wisdom teeth taken out 2 days before her bday. I figured I'd be too out of it to buy her something then.
SOOOO I got to thinking maybe I could make her a purse. I'd like to make her a photo purse!!!
But I have no idea what I would use for it! Clear vinyl? My printer is a piece of junk, so I dont want to have to print anything.. I was thinking something I could just insert a photo of the family in...
I dunno.
What can I use for this?!

I couldnt find a scarpbook I liked, so I decided to just buy one & cover it.
I found a scrapbook, but now I'm not sure what to use to cover it!
I plan on using fabric, but what should I use to hold the fabric on? I'm afraid that glue will show through, and I dont have the patience to put elastic on it and make a book cover (it was just a cheapo book anyway!)..

So. ideas anyone?

What do you guys think I could possibly get for this? Maybe $15-$20?  It's probably not something you would want to carry every day, thats why I think I would have a hard time selling it.

I d/n where else to post this, but I sure dont have time to take my machine to a shop at this hour.

I'm pretty sure I had this problem before, but I cant remember what fixed it.
My needle just stays in one place!!! The fabric wont move through the machine unless I pull at it, and then the stitches are extremely small & bad looking.

I've tried everything that I can think of w/o having to take it to a shop, but before I take it somewhere, I was wondering if anybody else knew what to do

(My dad wont help me, b/c he said it's not messed up. he thinks you are supossed to pull the fabric through!)

So, I'm making this bag for my boyfriend to give to his mother for Mother's Day. The purse is a placemat, so its not like I have an extra yard or two of the exact fabric hanging around (unless I go buy another $5 placemat to rip up?) to help.
Anyway. My question is... HOW do I get these handles on?! They didnt even come with instructions! I recently made a cute purse and used embriodery floss to hold the handles on, but it was a different set of handles. I thought I could figure these out, but I have NO clue. help!
