The second pic is the same purse flipped inside out so you can see the [stupid off centered] pocket w/ my label on it. I have no idea what I would ever wear this purse with! 
And the pics were taken in my unlit hallway w/ my camera phone.. SO since you cant see the fabric that I used very well, here is a swatch of it:


The lining is like a country/antique red>

What do you guys think I could possibly get for this? Maybe $15-$20?  It's probably not something you would want to carry every day, thats why I think I would have a hard time selling it.

So, I'm making this bag for my boyfriend to give to his mother for Mother's Day. The purse is a placemat, so its not like I have an extra yard or two of the exact fabric hanging around (unless I go buy another $5 placemat to rip up?) to help.
Anyway. My question is... HOW do I get these handles on?! They didnt even come with instructions! I recently made a cute purse and used embriodery floss to hold the handles on, but it was a different set of handles. I thought I could figure these out, but I have NO clue. help!

Heres my tampon dispensers.... I didnt want to mix the supers & the regulars, because my sister uses them too, and I hate to make her have to dig through a taped up box when shes already pms-ing

red & white has supers, red & blue w/ hearts has regulars.
I was going to have them say "regular" and "super" on them, but all I had to do that with was a gold paint pen and neon colored pipe cleaners.. HA.

I used hot glue & felt. And you know what comes along with hot glue.. right??



Well ya cant see it well... But.. yeah. I burned a giant blister in my finger. o-m-g. Much pain is being felt.

So, after all the sewing machine problems I had, and all the problems I had with screwing up the bag handles, THIS is what I came out with:





Yes. I am definatly kicking myself for using the white thread instead of brown. Damn!
Also, when I was buying the fabrics & etc, I let the lady at Hancocks talk me out of getting the amount of interfacing that the pattern calls for. So, as you can tell, its a little flimsy.

Ok, confusing question.
But I have a huge problem. I paid 6.99 a yard for this cute fabric, so I really dont want to have to buy more. But, I was cutting the fabric out into the pattern of a reaaaaallllllyyyy cute bag I've been dieing to make. (Fabric lackage kept me from making it) Well,  the handles are, like, cut out of the body of the bag, so its not liek I have to attatch them or anything. (I will try to post a pic of the bag or the pattern but it may not work) Well, as I was cutting the handle holes, I accidentally cut too far into one side, so now the circle handles are not symmetrical... I doubt I could make the hole any bigger without it looking crappy.
Any ideas what I can do?
