1  Re: come one! come all! post pics of your tattoos! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by newmomerin on: August 03, 2005 01:42:26 PM
HERE"S MY PICTURE!!!
I just got it on monday and I so ooooooo love it!

It's a violet art nouveau style.
This has very special meaning to me- my great grandmother was named violet and she died on her 20th birthday- 3 days after my grandmother was born. My grandmother, mother, myself, and my daughter all have the middle name violet. I love art nouveau and it's especially appropriate since that's the era that Violet was from.

I have never ever in my life endured pain like this (brazillian wax is NOTHING in comparison) .  it's probably because of the location I chose, my lower back, and the fact that it's outline-heavy (with a nice chocolate brown- love it) I am so so happy I got it becuase I just love it and it's so special to me!

I googled "ancient sea monster" and some variations thereof.

vanessa cyanide, after your inquiry i started looking up mythological creatures...nothing but really cheesy drawings! if i find anything cool, i'll pm you.

this thread is great! lots of fun ideas, and support for just being who you are. while i don't have any tattoos (and recently took out my nose ring because, well, it was high time for me) i always fancied the idea of albrecht durer's adam and eve (big art history/print nerd), each on one of my inner forearms. at first i thought, 'wow! that would be really cool on my shoulder blades!' but i'd want to look at a tattoo, if i had one.

ya looking for something like this?
