have you ever tried potter's house on prince avenue in normal town?  they have really low prices on clothes (thrift store) and you could probably find materials there for cheap.
5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: my band needs your help! on: November 03, 2005 06:05:32 PM
the fairburn royals put out an album that was packaged in a cardboard sleeve
the cover art was screenprinted on the cardboard sleeve and then inside was also
a sort of diy insert
it looked very cool, plus, recycling cardboard combined with probably a friend's printmaking
skills

willy mason's first album (not the one that came out on the team love label) also had a similar diy
art concept; the insert was a typed page by willy that he folded up, and the cover art was a sketch
a friend of his did on notebook paper while they were in class (i think he was still in high school at this time)
they just glue sticked it to the cd case (heavy paper sleeve) and then offered in the insert to send you a new
one if the original fell off or got messed up.  cute.

anyway, having all your cd artists make different collages, out of scraps and magazines etc, would also be cool
and original.

carrie on sex and the city wore a full skirted grey dress with red polka dots when she had her fabulous day exploring paris. this could be the UK version!

I absolutly love that you know that.
We should totally play the sex and the city trivia game sometime

(blush)
hehehe
i definitely am more inclined to remember television shows when they involve fabulous clothing

carrie on sex and the city wore a full skirted grey dress with red polka dots when she had her fabulous day exploring paris.   this could be the UK version!  smaller polka dots, different colors, but still sexy and fabulous!  i like it with nothing at the waist but i vote for a fabulous pair of high heels!  good job!  and nice subject line too. hehehe.  and p.s., i can't believe you didn't use a pattern and just gleaned it together from craftster ideas! awesome.
