Glad to hear you VA/MD ladies are safe! So scary, we are quite a bit away but still felt it quite strongly, my husband lived in CA as a child so he snapped into earthquake mode, got Zelda out of her crib (she was napping) and moved us all to a safe spot in the house... Q was at school and he said he didn't feel anything. Glad we aren't still living in an apartment in MD though, I don't think I could've dealt with more than we got! And now we prepare for Irene, fun.
I am going to try to check in around here but it might not be very much! If we aren't already FB friends you should add me (Amy Stagner in Raleigh, NC)! Hoping to be back in November but I think my husband has finally realized I really don't want a "real" job so he is being very supportive and pushing me to make my crafting my job, so I have a feeling things are going to be getting even more insane in the months to come. His dad will be out of the office space starting in Nov. so he really wants me to take over and make it a handmade boutique, he's apparently been really impressed with what I have been making lately, yay! It's both exciting and terrifying. Now to really learn how to "start a business". YIKES!
