1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Putting your project on different fabric? on: March 01, 2006 07:13:02 AM
Hi fellow craftsters Grin

I'm really into cross-stitching atm, but I was wondering how you get a finished (cross or embroidery) stitch on.. lets say a pillowcase? Huh Like this pillow: http://www.etsy.com/get_jpg_full_image.php?image_id=365667. I mean.. you stitch something on.. 14 count Aida and then? You cut it and sew it onto the pillowcase? But how is it possible then not to get white edges from the Aida?  Huh I hope you'll understand what I mean hehe.
Thanks!
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / links for bedroom ideas? on: February 18, 2006 08:05:05 AM
Hi guys Smiley.

I'm about to redecorate my room, I want to get it pink & torquoise colored. I had all these great links in my favorites with the most gorgeous bedrooms or ideas, but my computer crashed a while a go and I lost all my links Sad. So I was hoping if you guys new some great bedroom sites with images to get some inspiration Smiley.

Thanks a lot!!
3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Making crafts for a good couse on: November 04, 2005 06:45:04 AM
hi hi,

Ok this is gonna be a long story I think  Embarrassed

For school me and the group of students have this project, where we need to raise money for a good couse. Our good couse is Warchild. So we made the plan to organise a cheap goods market. It all has to cost no money. So we already organised a sponsor and still working on some other things..

I think it would be cool not only to sell 'cheap goods' but also crafts. But these crafts musn't cost any money, because we don't get a fund from school.. Sad. Anyone has some good and inexpensive ideas?

Thanks so much  Grin
