I'm so glad you liked everything Flip Flop!  But most of all, I'm ecstatic that the cupcake goodies made it there in a non-liquid form.  They're cupcake mixed with buttercream frosting on the inside, and the outside is chocolate!  I poured milk chocolate into a candy mould, squished in a ball of cupcake/frosting "dough" and then dipped the top in pink chocolate for the frosting.  Smiley

Yesterday!!!  Augh!  Well, I hope that the potentially melt-able part of your package is still ok with all the dry ice and reusable ice I put in there!

In other, happier news, I got my package today!  I have to say it might be the most awesome package I've ever gotten in a swap!  Here come the photos!

The whole thing, all wrapped up beautifully in lovely, summery tissue (which I think is even the nice, floral kind!)

Super cute cupcake stickers, which look like they're coloured in by hand!! Glittery, cute and wonderful - I may have to keep them for myself instead of distributing them to my kiddies at school...

A great cupcake cookbook (which will be great for the school year!), a cupcake liner modge podge-d notebook (did you know that I always carry around a little notebook to write notes, draw out ideas and stuff?) and extra cupcake liners

And a beautifully well made purse!  The lining is the same cupcakes on lime in the panel on the outside, which is also a giant pocket!

(my younger sister has already claimed it as her own, which I figured was fair since she had to come with me to collect the package from the post office, which took over an hour!)

Did you think I was done?  Oh no!  Someone else has been spoiled too - my bunny, Tuzi (pronounced Too-zee)
FlipFlop made him a little towel with amazing little cupcake appliques and embroidery.  It's even in his favourite colour - yellow!  It's so funny, he loves yellow.  I accidentally dropped a piece of yellow fabric on the floor once and he came running over to claim it for himself.  So, my bf and I went and bought him a whole set of his own yellow towels so we could let him know which places are his (as opposed to "ours").  I think this is exactly the kind of towels we got him even, but his new towel is waaaay prettier!

And a quick shot of Tuz checking out his new towel:

Thanks so much FlipFlop!!  And more photos are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34667947@N00/?saved=1!

I'm so anxiously waiting to hear from FlipFlop that she's received!  In the meantime, I've been enviously going through the gallery and surfing the net for other cuteness, and look what I found!

Those people over at craftzine must be jealous of our goodies too!

Sorry for the delay in reply... I sort of forgot about this post after the Challenge was over.  I made up the pattern.  It's based on my huge collection of penguin stuffed animals.  Strangely, each time I make a PenGwen, they turn out different.
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: These penguins will not march, tap dance, or even surf. on: July 25, 2007 03:18:41 PM
That's a great bag!  And the fabric is awesome!  As a fellow penguin obsessed person, may I ask where you bought it?  I would love to make myself a bag with that fabric!
6  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Re: GAP pink ballet dress on: June 17, 2007 07:12:59 AM
I just made a dress VERY similar to that!  It's basically this dress: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.shoprapunzels.com/store/images/small/DR0275_front.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.shoprapunzels.com/store/product.asp%3Fmode%3Dcategory%26pid%3D6167%26catid%3D1233%26bid%3D&h=288&w=160&sz=27&hl=en&start=11&sig2=KrrNlEVz6ofbkTPe4Sj4hQ&um=1&tbnid=RFfqHb9hTapfgM:&tbnh=115&tbnw=64&ei=IUF1RvuiO6OKeNe4_W8&prev=/images%3Fq%3D%2522saint%2Bgrace%2522%2B%2Bdress%26svnum%3D10%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den

I'll get photos of it as soon as I can.  I used a pretty simple "Easy" McCall's pattern M5317
7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: lemons, limes and watermelon... OH MY!!! on: May 16, 2007 05:06:16 AM
So my little pouches seem to have gotten up and walked off.  If I find them, I'll have to get a photo for ya.  Smiley  Good for you for crafting while you're preggers, too!  Maybe you'll get a crafty baby!
8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Strawberry the Summer PenGwen on: May 15, 2007 05:40:50 PM
Meet Strawberry, the Summertime PenGwen.  She's constructed from anti-pill fleece and quilter's cotton.  She's not your typical penguin but she's a lot of fun, and loves to go picking strawberries!

I'm preparing for a craft fair, but I might just have to take some time out to make an entry...  Smiley

I have one of those too!  ...and I can't get mine to work either.  I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.  Sorry I couldn't offer any help! Undecided
