41  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Wedding Portrait - My Sister's Work-PIC HEAVY on: December 15, 2007 08:43:28 PM
My husband has a closet fascination for cross stitch (you didn't hear it from me), so when I showed it to him, he just said in shocked disbelief, "NO." It's just amazing. So detailed.

I really appreciate things like this, because they take so much time to do, and the end result is wonderful. I've never seen anything of this scope and detail, before. It's gorgeous.

42  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Orange paisley dress on: December 10, 2007 06:09:08 AM
I really love the style, and the fabric is AWESOME! You model it well, too. I've always wanted a dress like that.

43  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: I made a polar bear on: December 02, 2007 12:45:54 PM
I want to squeeze the crap out of it.

It made me think of the coca-cola polar bear cub commercials.  Grin

44  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Lego Coaster Set on: November 30, 2007 01:33:10 PM
My brother recently pulled out his old legos, and we sat there playing with them for a while. So much fun. I kept thinking to myself, what practical thing can I make out of them?

45  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: When ebay hands you lemons...make pretties anyway! on: November 19, 2007 07:01:14 PM
I've heard too many horror stories to frequent eBay like I used to. It's a shame the eBay guy was such a schmuck. But you really made the most of it. I like those earrings a lot; they look all antique-y. I'm sorry the beads aren't what you wanted, but really, you made them look fantastic. Smiley

46  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Bowtie Ballet pasta dish with Pic on: November 19, 2007 06:05:28 AM
That. Looks. So. GOOD.

It's a shame my husband doesn't eat anything green. I may have to take out the peas, and chop the hell out of those onions so he doesn't know they're in there. But at least I could still add the peas to mine later...

I loved reading your intro about how excited your friends were about Bowtie Ballet day. Good food can do that to you. Smiley

I'm going to try this ASAP. Maybe even today, in fact.

47  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: more fun with shrinky dink!!! on: November 17, 2007 03:58:52 AM
Your stuff continues to amaze and inspire me. My favorites are the first ones and the knitting ram ones. Smiley Ingenious. Love it.

48  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Lucky Paper Stars on: November 10, 2007 02:58:28 PM
I love those stars! I've made them in so many shapes and sizes. I always keep colored strips in my desk for whenever I get the urge. Smiley

Love the Big Daddy reference! Smiley You are an amazing artist. Wow wow wow. I love the kitties especially, though I've seen your other work, and you do great portraits.

WOW that's really inventive. I never thought of doing that!
