31  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Cathedral Windows at its best! (With Recipe Link) on: June 29, 2008 04:19:19 PM
The outside looked pretty enough, but the inside -- WOW. So pretty. I don't know if I'd have the patience to prepare it, but I've got to remember to keep it on hand; my husband is a Jello fiend. Smiley Thanks so much for sharing!

I, too, love little girls in blue, but sometimes they just need that extra bit of girliness. Smiley Do you mind if I borrow this idea? I'm having a little girl in October.

33  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Twirly dress in pink! *3 pics* on: June 04, 2008 01:32:28 PM
This dress is AMAZING. I'm so glad you posted a picture of you wearing it, because the other ones really don't do it justice like the action shot does. I can't imagine how much time and effort went into something so beautiful. It's just gorgeous. I can't say enough about how much I love this dress.

She looks like she loves it! I do, too. Wish I had something like that when I was her age.

As for finishing the bottom, I really don't know. But the blue binding strip might look good. You could also take the gold from the waistband.

I bet you really made her Valentine's Day. Smiley

Your little girl is such a doll! Great recon. I, too, have that tutorial bookmarked, and hope to get to it when I (eventually) have a little girl of my own. It's so cute, though, I might just have to make it for one of the little girls at my church. But is that too weird? Smiley

While I am a HUGE fan of everything you make for your little sweetie, I'm really partial to this one. This look is pretty "in," right now. I love things for little girls that are pretty and still easy to move around in. This looks comfy and fun.

I love love LOVE how that came out. Looks much more interesting. I've stenciled t-shirts twice before, but only with good ol' fabric paint and a sponge brush. Smiley

40  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Berry Bear on: January 04, 2008 04:01:13 PM
He's so cute! I love his little belly. I wish I knew crochet better so I could make one. My skills are very limited.

You know, looking at it, the pink stripe going diagonally across his face looks like a mouth of sorts. I'm not sure if that was your intention, but it's cute. Smiley And the button eyes are great.

I've got to learn how to make these bears before I have kids. Or a dog.  Cheesy Glad yours thinks he's yummy. Hehe
