I will take a stab at this - When I decorate I usually use store/thrift bought items.  On occassion I have used things from my personal stash with the thought I will bill them accordingly.  Now there were times I sold from my stash things I regretted later.. My advice.. don't do it!  You will miss it later

But now that you know it was a hit... look for similiar items while you are out and about.. and if it should ever come up again.. you have one to part with...

I just made a 360 degree turn yesterday in my minivan (DH & kids in tow) as I saw a flexible flyer on the curb... I immediatley snatched it up... (the previous owner was trying to sell it for $3.00 and wrote on the metal in black sharpie )

I actually came to this board to see how I could decorate it w/out ruining it and sell it.. since I don't have any attachments to it... do you have any suggestions?

My 1st thought was "that's a very good idea" Then I remembered some of the pieces have sharp pointed ends... not a bad way to keep out unwanted guests!

What to do w/this.. I picked it up at a yardsale.  I thought about placing in a shadow box..& embellishing.. what other ideas?

BAG SALE -  Fill one of those zip laundry bags $6/Med or $11/Large The stuff that won't fit in the bag will be sold from $1.00- $10.00.. no higher... yes, even the vintage fireplace mantle surround & Metal Milk Cannisters, Manicure Table, Sewing Machines & MORE!!!!

I have a TON of old books (for altered books), new & opened craft supplies, beads, silk flowers, ribbon, mosaic pieces, found objects, wooden window sashes, wallpaper books, new in box glass votive holders, new wall paper, new trims, new fabric, new & used paints, new & old jewelry, new & old clothing, toys, vintage chrome kitchen appliances, vintage leather suitcases, vintage copper, brass & wood pieces, furniture pieces (to be restored), sample cabinet doors (Carol Duvall projects), vinyl records, aol-type cds & tins, antique items: dutch wood clogs, wood shoe trees, Asian fans & parasols, vintage door knobs & drawer pulls, etc that I NEED to move.  I am paying WAY TOO much storage for items I will probably never use.

So in an effort to move them, I am purchasing those huge plastic zip laundry bags from the discount store and offering (NJ/NY area) folks to fill these bags for $6 (med) or $11 (large)... Everyone's doing that paint can gift idea... use decorated formula cans to make survival kits as gifts. ie: Spa cans, cooking; birthday etc
