There's talk of a PG Wodehouse Swap Round II, if anyone's up for it!

Well, I'm too busy for this round, (gosh, who'd've thought there'd be a PG Wodehouse Swap round 2?), but I'll see what I can do about getting the word out, and I'll watch with interest! I do hope this goes ahead.

And of course we'd all have grants to live on,so we wouldn't have pesky jobs taking up time that could be spent crafting.Or wildly sucessful etsys.
Secret clubhouse, hee hee. I have this mental image of myself wearing trenchcoat, shades, and carmen sandiago-type hat, sneaking around a corner, and zipping inside the doorway.Lots of pockets for supplies;we'd have to get Q from James Bond working on craftster gagets instead of spy gagets.

"It's okay, everyone, I've got the acrylics."

"Were you followed?"

"I managed to shake off the guy that was tailing me by leaving a knit decoy of myself in the yarn shop."

Thanks to all your recommendations, I've finally sat down and started reading The Beauty Myth properly (I only flicked through it in school a few years ago), and I just have to say WOW. It's a great book.

I think we'd need some sort of magical magnet that can pick up seed beads or glitter out of the carpet, as well.

Nah, just mesh at the base of the carpet so that it can fall into collectors, and then a giant sorter like those change-sorting machines to re-sort it all back into categories for re-use.  Grin  Come on, if you're going for tech that doesn't exist, think Willy Wonka, not Hoover! Wink

That's MUCH better! Also, a machine with lots of arms that can sort out yarn that's got tangled up.

YKYACW you have a dream that there's like, a craftster headquarters/clubhouse thing right near where you live.
wouldn't that be totally awesome?

Wait a second... a craftster headquarters? I thought I was living in it...

We've dicussed a headquarters, commune AND "Craft Force One," the Craftster airplane. Cheesy

Well, if we've got the aeroplane, we really should have a cruise ship as well (I don't know why I'm suggesting this, I get horribly seasick).

YKYACW... you consider learning Japanese so you could watch Heroes without subtitles and craft the whole time.
