OT - teraspawn I've made a top like that and tied foam leaves to the fringing. It's a fab top to wear.

OT right back atcha - Awesome top! I love the leaves (would you mind if I stole that idea sometime?). I made one a while ago that tied up all the way, and my friend Astrid liked it but has (unlike me) actual breasts, so we were brainstorming ways of concealing a bra.  I don't think she's made it yet...

Here's the awesome loot I got from Kkiinnkkyy!
Choker necklace (turns out it's really hard to photograph things on your neck):

Sketchpad (back story, my goldfish is a murderer):

Stress ball (I have a lot of exams):

She also sent some shiny hairclips, which I think were made from a CD (?), but these were elsewhere when I was photographing things.

Brilliant, huh?

I got my sharpies from themixtaper today!  I'm not going to take a picture, since I figure you already know what they look like...

However, these are the colours she sent me:

Yay!

Tadaa!  Thank you, Brighton Bead Shop (and beatnik_chik for the idea!)

(Sorry for my clashing socks and rubbish webcam pics  Embarrassed)

..and those are my teddybear's feet in the bottom left over there.  He wanted to get in on the action.

26  The second star to the right... ***NOW WITH BEADED LACES*** in CHALLENGE 10 ENTRIES by teraspawn on: April 03, 2006 08:32:07 AM
So... I've had these plain white converses sitting around in my "To Do" basket forever and a day.  Problem is: I don't have any fabric paints.  I forget about them, and they gather dust (probably).

Then two wonderful things happen at once:  My brother brings home flourescent fabric pens from a mate at uni, and I see the new Craftster challenge!  The ideas fuse together in my brain, so I settle down with my bootleg copy of Brokeback Mountain, a packet of chocolate digestives and my shoe-painting supplies, and I get going!

Sorry for the sub-par pictures, I did something terrible to my web-cam in a previous life, clearly.

What do you think?  I'm debating whether or not to do something interesting to the laces.  What would look cool?

YKYACW...

yep, that's my study wall.  And those are paint sample cards.  I always bring them home when I go to Homebase (my friend who works there thinks I'm an utter freak Wink), and I ended up with a lovely mix of colours and thought... what can I do with those?  So here it is.  Do I win a prize? Tongue

(They keep bloody falling down, though.  I need to sellotape them up properly, I think)

29  Mother's Day - Vaguely Professional-Looking Card in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by teraspawn on: March 25, 2006 07:54:49 AM
This is the first time I've done something I've really liked using foam pads to raise bit of things.  In fact, I think this is the first card I've ever made that doesn't look like it's been made by a seven-year-old...

Hurrah for mother's day!  What think ye?

30  Knitted belt? You crazy wench! in Knitting: Completed Projects by teraspawn on: March 25, 2006 07:42:43 AM
So I had this lovely weird sort of natural-looking yarn, which looked quite nice with some pink stuff I had lying around.  I started knitting, and this is what happened:

(please excuse my stomach)

The pink bits look good either way 'round, so I guess it's reversible.

Problem is... I don't actually wear neutral-ey colours with pastels.  Like... ever.  (I'm more of a psychadelic rainbow sort of person - don't worry, I'm sure I'll grow out of it Wink)  Plus, I don't think it could hold up my terminally-falling-down jeans.  What should I do with it?  Is anyone interested in swapping with me?
