This is fantastic.  I think that it is some interesting commentary.
12  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Tips for Pattern Storage on: September 26, 2008 08:29:39 PM
I have been keeping my patterns in a drawer, but I recently received the Sublime Stitching book and I was considering keeping them in the pockets of the book, because that would be so nice and handy and much less likely to get lost.  However, in the book, Jenny warns that you have to be really careful with the patterns because they can fade.  Now, I am a little paranoid that they will get smashed to the envelopes inside the book pockets.  How do you store your SS patterns, and have you ever had an issue with them get warped or otherwise destroyed?
13  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: x - x Constructive Feedback Lounge x - x on: September 25, 2008 08:29:06 PM
I don't know if this is the place to mention it, but I noticed on the page for the needle for sale (http://sublimestitching.com/needle.html) it says, "This is the same needle included in each starter kit, but now you can get yourself and extra one."  "And" should be "an" of course.

Also, I just got Sublime Stitching, the book, and it is most excellent.  I love the Love Birds pattern.
14  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: Probably the FATTEST Fat Bottom Bag you've ever seen!! (EDIT 12/28/07) on: September 22, 2008 11:31:28 PM
I hear you on bags.  I often look at the cute little purses, and then think how about five of them would fit in my own bag.

I have been avoiding the fat bottom bag because it seemed too.. trendy, but maybe I can reconsider.

I looked at the first picture, and I was like, those aren't adult only, and then I saw.  And they were beautiful.

This does, in fact, always happen when I play tetris.  Love it.

I don't think I could finish that if I worked day and night for a month without sleep or food.  Fantastic!
18  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: Pin-Up Girl on Hankie (Warning: Nudity) on: September 21, 2008 07:22:49 PM
I wouldn't want to use such lovely work for my nose.  What stitch did you use for the shoes?
19  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: Let's Skate! on: September 21, 2008 07:21:22 PM
That is really cute!  Do the letters mean anything?

Hell yeah!  I think this is fantastic... I am sad someone already bought it from etsy.
