I made these pants for my daughter a while back and i want to make another pair. Trouble is, i cant find the tute anywhere. It was on a blog but thats all i remember! It is just using an existing pants pattern but the tute gives all the measurements for adding in the full length pockets down the sides.

4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Adventure pants! on: February 18, 2010 05:37:20 PM
I made these pants today for my two year old daughter. We call them adventure pants because she can fill the deep pockets with things she collects on our adventures! It is hard to see in the pics but the fabric has little birds on it. I followed the instructions of this website:

Enjoy!

I have an 18month old daughter and would love to get some great photos of her but all the professional photographers are soooo expensive. I'm looking for a photography student who needs a subject for practise photos. Please let me know if you are interested or know where to find someone. Dandenong area. Any help would be very appreciated!
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / This is KILLING me!! Help me find instructions/pattern! on: April 15, 2009 04:11:33 AM
Background story.... About four years ago when i was working at spotlight(massive fabric chain store in australia) i woman was telling me about a bag she was making. She said you start with a large rectangle of fabric then make a fold and a seam, a fold and a seam etc. At the end you have a bag with lots of pockets with no raw edges all without any cutting! So, because i was working i didnt have time to write any of this down and i of course never saw this lady again.

That brings us to now, i have looked up everything i can think of on google and cannot find anything like this. I desperately want to make this bag!!!

If anybody knows how to do it, please please please let me know!!

8  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Two new baby dresses! on: November 02, 2008 01:52:25 AM
I made these dresses for my little cutie using the patten at http://www.themayfly.com/weblog/sewing/

They are so so so easy to make and would make great gifts!

Both dresses are completely reversible.

My daughter has just started crawling so she is very hard to get photos of.
Heres what i managed:

This one has pink press studs at the shoulders

This one ties at the shoulders

Front of both

Back of both

Laying flat so you can see how easy they are and how easy to iron!

I have about forty 450g size empty formula cans with lids. The cans are silver(some have lables on, some off) and the lids are white. They would be good for storing sewing threads buttons etc or there are tons of different crafts you could make with them! If you want them please message me!
