Cute! I think my dad would appreciate something like this to keep his eggs warm while he makes the rest of his breakfast!

Looks great! I think in my first month of knitting I knit like 10 rows of basically nothing... so kudos to you! I'm self taught as well and I found video tutorials on youtube that were really helpful for things I found complicated like increasing and button holes. The best way to learn is to just try it, or have someone show you if possible.

I love the colors! Great job.
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Knitted Nibbler on: January 26, 2010 07:26:47 PM
Thanks everyone! It was actually a pretty easy pattern, I'm still a newbie knitter and could do it, you should definitely try it!
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knitted Nibbler on: January 26, 2010 02:30:55 PM
Here he is in all his glory, Nibbler!

You might be wondering why he is on the toilet. Well, if you flip him upside down...

He keeps your toilet paper safe. I can't take credit for the pattern, but here is a link to it (really easy to follow, knit up pretty quickly too!) So a huge thanks to Elizabeth Jarvis for making and posting the pattern on ravelry.

My only mistake was showing my friends. Now everyone wants one! I'm actually working on another one right now. Smiley
