I am desperate for a cute shark pattern.  I don't want it to be too small. About 8" long.  I found a few patterns online but they are either too big or just not very cute.  It is my friend birthday and he would go ape shit over a crochet shark.

I have just started to learn how to crochet!
Here are my two latest creations!
I found the pattern for the Duck on the internet and i found the pattern for the Snail in Super Cute Crochet by Nicki Trench.

I am not sure if anyone will be able to help me with this or if this is the appropriate place to post this.
Does anyone know where I can find a good silk screening class in Toronto?
If you do let me know because I have been having a hell of a time trying to find one.

i did not have enough yarn to make it bigger so i want to make a new one that is much larger.

for those of you who are interested here is the pattern:

Cast On 47
Row 1: knit 2 tog, knit 9, yarn forward, knit 1, yarn forward, knit 10, slip 1, knit 2 tog, psso, knit 10, wool over, knit 1, wool over, knit 9, knit 2 tog

Row 2: pearl 

so you make about 3 or 4 strips and then sew them together. you can decide. it all depends on the yarn you use and how big you want it to be. i made 3 but only because i ran out of yarn.

i knit this awhile ago. it was really easy. does anyone have a nice easy pattern like this one?

(this one is just a matter of knit and pearl and dropping stiches. you pretty much make three scarfs and then sew them together)

i have looked on some free pattern sites but i find that the patters are quite complicated. i just want to make a cute simple toy that is not a stuffed bear or rabbit or clown.
