I am desperate for a cute shark pattern.  I don't want it to be too small. About 8" long.  I found a few patterns online but they are either too big or just not very cute.  It is my friend birthday and he would go ape shit over a crochet shark.

The book Super-Cute Crochet is awesome! It is all beginner stuff and she gives very clear instructions on the back. I use her instructions and the Happy Hooker.
