1  Another ipod cozy in Completed Projects by rayno24 on: December 12, 2005 05:11:54 PM
Christmas gifts are all handmade this year.
(No ipod to put in it over here, so it's flat)
Snap closure, clear plastic vinyl in the windows!

Used the pattern from here, thanks!

2  "Omaha is for lovers I don't have to love" t-shirt in Screen Printing: Completed Projects by rayno24 on: December 12, 2005 04:59:19 PM
Yep. The Christmas gifts are practically making themselves.
(I didn't make this stencil, but I forget where I stole it from. If it's yours, please let me know so I can give credit where credit is due)

3  Stuffed Love Bear in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by rayno24 on: December 04, 2005 08:02:52 AM
This little guy was created out of a joke between me and some friends. I got a drunk IM one night from a friend who is out of the country, and he said "soon we will be drunk together and the world will be flowers and love bears!"
I was like, what the heck is a love bear?
So this is his christmas present.
I got the patter from here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=10382.0

4  Re: pillow case gallery! in The Swap Gallery by rayno24 on: September 30, 2005 02:13:03 PM
Here are the ones I sent to Space Cowgirl. She got them already, so it's safe! There are two of the same thing.
Bird applique on super soft blue.

5  cupcake soaps! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by rayno24 on: September 13, 2005 03:47:22 PM
I asked about using soap in a piping bag yesterday, and finally decided to give it a shot. It was a huge pain, but it worked! If you let the soap cool off enough to hold it's shape, you have about 1 minute to pipe the soap out of a piping bag before it hardens too much... just enough time to frost some soap cupcakes with vanilla scented soap icing! What a yummy birthday present.

6  Bird silkscreens, shower curtain and sheets in Screen Printing: Completed Projects by rayno24 on: July 26, 2005 03:33:28 PM
This was my first silkscreen project ever. I did it so I could have something nice when I moved into my new apartment.
There is a shower curtain, and full sized sheet, and two pillow cases.
I also threw in a close up of the image because it's hard to see :-) the colors look a little funky in the photos. In real life it's a leafy yellow-green, a darker blueish green, and a slightly shimmery lavender.

7  Teen Girl Squad Embroidered Memory Pouch in Needlework: Completed Projects by rayno24 on: July 22, 2005 12:33:58 PM
This is my first embroidery project ever. I made it for a friend who is going to Australia for a semester abroad. I embroidered the design (which is modified from the Teen Girl Squad front page), and then turned it into a pocket lined with a manilla envelope so he could keep little trinkets or ticket stubs or other little memories in it as he goes!
For my first embroidery ever, I'm pretty happy with it. I only had one night to make it, so I'm sure I could have done better if I had more time. Also, I only used a backstitch because I didn't have a chance to teach myself more stictches.

8  record earring holder in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by rayno24 on: July 22, 2005 12:29:19 PM
I stole this idea from someone else around here, it's fabulous and easy and completely organized my disaster of an earring bowl!
yay! Just heat up a thick needle or huge safety pin in a candle flame and start poking holes.
(also, this is my first craft ever posted on craftster, because I just found you guys.)
