21  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / Re: how to fix it when a pattern sizing is WAY OFF on: January 19, 2009 08:45:03 AM
i did this before. the crotch is okay its the side seams that are off. seam rip the side seams and fold the u in half. i hope that makes since. the side seams should fold back into seperate legs and the waiist will apear on top. it sounds difficult but if you just rip the side seams apart and play with the folding on the side pieces you will seee where you went awiye. it tickeled me soo much when i figured it out cause its just a little fold and it's no where on the pattern to indicate which direction you are suppose to be folding. and i didn't find out about the folding technig until after i had put my baby in her MC hammer pants Grin lolol, lolol lolol

30  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Funky Dress! on: November 04, 2008 02:21:26 PM
i think $27 dollars is to much for a pillowcase dress no matter the fabric. be resonable when pricing because people who buy pillowcase dresses are usually looking for some thing simple and casual for a toddler and since it will most likey be worn for play our quick ensembles it shouldn't be to pricy.
