1  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / thinking about a lacey cowl and howl on: November 13, 2005 04:00:34 PM
i just had a brainstorm...to make the cowl from the first SNB's "cowl & howl", only with lace weight yarn on size 11's. probably in stockinette st, too...does this sound crazy? any ideas/opinions? maybe with a big cable up the front too............
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / granny square purse, true granny style on: July 25, 2005 02:10:14 PM
this is my first time crocheting. this purse is so hideously ugly, and thus awesome.

(excuse my looking pregnant, my shirt is just really big)

the strap is thin but i ran out of yarn, i will see how it holds then maybe make it bigger. it is all scratchy red heart acrylic to add to the tackiness.
