1  Re: Modeknit corset tank top in Knitalongs by dearsunexplode on: October 05, 2005 04:30:01 PM

It is finished and it fits!  I was worried because it looked really tiny.  I used Knitpicks Andean Silk.  The yarn is a wool, silk, alpaca blend so it is not really a summer top ( too itchy and warm).  I plan on wearing it with jeans in the fall, maybe with a tee shirt underneath.  This knit up really quick- about 10 days!  And I used almost 5 skeins of yarn.

kathy ruth-did you modify this pattern? your sleeves look so different than in the original pattern. or is this the modifications to the pattern?  Huh

2  granny square purse, true granny style in Crochet: Completed Projects by dearsunexplode on: July 25, 2005 02:10:14 PM
this is my first time crocheting. this purse is so hideously ugly, and thus awesome.

(excuse my looking pregnant, my shirt is just really big)

the strap is thin but i ran out of yarn, i will see how it holds then maybe make it bigger. it is all scratchy red heart acrylic to add to the tackiness.
