I like the idea of the seperate bottoms. Here are some more of the patterns I had in mind:

This is one of those playsuits? I think this is kinda cute too.

3  Vintage Swimsuit Help in Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions by star69 on: April 29, 2008 08:44:13 AM
I need myself a swimsuit. And I've been browsing vintage patterns and a lot of them look really easy to follow. I like the ones like these because they're super cute and give me the coverage on the tops of my thighs which I don't like to expose very much. But I need some idea for what to do with underneath it.

I know it sounds weird but would it be better to have something separate like shorts or say a bikini-like bottom underneath or have it attached to the rest of it. I'm not sure.

Since my partner FINALLY received, I can post what I made for her. Pictured is my try at a replica Gloomy Bear hoodie, some panda stationary of letter paper and envelopes, a panda bookmark, a panda photo album, a container of panda treats and 2 Jamaican keychains. n___n I'm so glad Frozenboogreatr likes her package. I spent such a long time on that hoodie! I hope it fits right!

8  A Polka Dotted Hoodie Extraordinare. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by star69 on: January 03, 2007 08:50:09 PM
I haven't posted in forever. But anyway, I was on the Wet Seal website last night. I saw this hoodie. $22.50. I bought some polka dotted fabric last week. Had some time today.

The hoodie for Wet Seal:

My hoodie:

I haven't put on the kanga pocket or the band at the bottom yet, but I was just so proud of myself, and blown away on how easy it really was to make. I really like it, and the fabric is so soft and comfy. Should I do the band in white or light blue?

Comments/criticisms/praise. Cheesy

Peace homies! && Happy New Year!

9  Re: Japanese Lolita gallery in The Swap Gallery by star69 on: December 21, 2006 05:21:56 PM
Awesome stuff! I recieved my package! HOHMYGOSH. Everything is so GORGEOUS. Thank you so much Gothmom!!

Okay, so, my ultimate wish was something wa-lolita related. And, I recieved this:

The outfit had a top, skirt, a matching hairbow and a wooden fan with some pretty gold ribbon that is on the hairbow and trims the skirt as well. Another reason I love it so much is that besides it fitting so well, my mother said all the gold matches my skin tone very well and makes me look pretty in it.  Grin I felt wonderful! So, now I have something to wear to a meetup! Thanks again gothmom!

This package has now inspired me to start on my own loli wardrobe! My envisioned projects: a sailor loli outfit and a kodona outfit.

And I hope your package is on its way, mistresscandance! ^^

10  Evil Doll Costume Help in Halloween Costumes by star69 on: October 06, 2006 04:56:22 PM
Hello people! Okay, well, even though Halloween is on a Tuesday this year, I'm going to an early party! So, the costume I really like is one I saw on eBay!

It was dubbed an Evil Doll. Now, I have the hair, makeup, gloves and shoes down, but I need help with the dress.
I have a tulle tutu thing that I could wear underneath it for the fluffiness, but any ideas on how I could construct the dress? I'm sure I have some polka dotted material somewhere, but any ideas for how I could contruct it? Any help will be appreciated!

And of course, pictures of when it is complete will be posted!  Smiley
