21  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: "Unmentionable" Embroidery Thread Bobbins - Now with templates - pg. 5 on: August 12, 2008 06:12:44 PM
Thanks, guys! I finally have a couple of weeks off, so I'm hoping to be able to devote a few rainy hours to making some more of these. I think it should be more fun now that I can just cut them out and decorate. If anyone else makes some, I'd love to see some pictures.  Smiley
22  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: ginormous (well, for me) fairytale embroidery on: August 12, 2008 06:09:45 PM
Breathtaking. I love the texture you've created with the long stitches, and the colouring in her hair is great.
23  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Bride of Frankenstein (and Crossbones!) on: August 12, 2008 06:05:26 PM
Thanks so much!:D The frame was a lucky find. I had my heart set on an oval-shaped frame, and the only other one I could find was an ugly red and brown.

Thanks for the suggestion. You sure dug up an old thread here. My hair is fairly long now. (I'm pretty sure I didn't get any kind of 'hawk, though.)
