1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Re: Where to find Blythe/Pullip dolls on: November 23, 2007 07:40:11 AM
Thevalleyofthedolls.com is probably best for shipping time and price. They are very prompt and communicate very well with you.

I've bought two pullips on ebay so far and I haven't been pleased with either seller and it's always something to do with shipping  Roll Eyes

also if you're looking into getting one and want to see pictures, the pullip style forum has alot of helpful members that take some beautiful photographs!

Yay for pictures! Tiffie sent me some wonderful goodies!

A rockin' jewelry box that now lives on my dresser!

a sweet painting that hangs out next to my gnomes on my desk and some awesome jewelry!

and an awesome clutch that is perfect for the bars!

All in all I'm really impressed, she has some wicked painting skills!

(p.s. I think some of the photos might be wonky, flickr has eaten the messenger bag picture  Huh)

I would definitely use a stitch marker, a faint line is pretty common, depending on what you're making when all's said and done you probably won't notice it

I May be looking way too much into this but when the book says:

"ch 14, working in back bumps of foundation ch, sc in second and each ch across (13 sc)"

Now, Does that mean sc in the back loop? or the bumpy bit on the wrong side of the change cause then there's this part..

"pivot work to work along opposite side of foundation, sk first sc, 6 dc in next sc, sk 1 sc, sk last sc....."

That would lead me to believe im working in the back loops. But I want to make sure. This is my first amigurumi and I'd like to start off on the right foot.

Thanks in advance!
