21  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Marilyn Monroe CD (help!) on: April 04, 2007 07:03:25 PM
This is an uncompleted project from at least 2 weeks ago- and it drives me crazy to see it on my coffee table everyday unfinished!! I love this picture & I love MM!

I'm not sure how I want to finish it.. It's an altered CD (that I will probably put a magnet on and stick to my fridge) and I want it to be glamourous and I'm thinking lots of glitter.. I don't know!!

Someone help, please!! I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

22  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Shower corsage on: March 23, 2007 06:39:51 PM
Has anyone seen baby shower corsages?? I want to make one for my friend (and her mom too) for her baby shower next month. I've collected pictures of ideas I like, but I'm not sure how I'll go about them yet... All I know is that I do not want to make the typical rolled baby sock roses.
I should say that I'm not sure where these pictures came from. If one happens to be yours, please let me know!

I really like these 2:

And here's some others:

Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?? Thanks for reading!
23  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Onesies on: March 20, 2007 06:47:26 PM
Well, I know there's like a hundred topics on baby onesies, but I thought I'd upload these that I just made for my friend's lil girl (just with fabric paint). Sorry for the crappy pictures..

24  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Altered letters on: March 08, 2007 06:41:21 PM
My best friend is expecting a little girl in a few months.. These are the first letters I've done and I must say I'm rather pleased!  Grin I just picked up some wooden letters at Hobby Lobby, Modge Podged scrapbook paper onto them, then glued the embellishments on. Thanks for looking!

And this one's for Adyson, another friend's baby:

I have made these for two of my friends and they both seemed to have liked them.  I simply painted wooden hangers, glued rhinestones at the ends, tied on coordinating ribbon at the top, and fabric-painted little phrases (such as 'i do') on them. Thanks for looking!  Smiley
