the mixed the Mr. Brown color with an olive green color on the project sheet that came with my sample and it looked kind of cute. In a free knitting pattern kind of way.

I have tried to keep the expense to a minimum on new projects by trying to use things that I can find at thrft shops, that I have laying around being useless, or things that are terribly on sale. I won't buy normal priced things for a craft that I am just learning or my first time through a project unless I absolutely have to.I'll take apart old necklaces for beads, make a first run on an apron with an old sheet instead of new beautiful fabric...etc... But I'm just cheap.

We call "goulash" stuff in a pot and it keeps my husband soo happy.... everything thats in the fridge mixed with hamburger, noodles and tomato sauce.........it makes cooking soo easy.

I made a bag from a wool striped structure sweater this weekend. I'm hooked. Everyone is getting these for Christmas. It took less than an hour to put together and I have been getting compliments like crazy on it already. So much bang for your crafting buck!! Thank you guys for this project.

I love the lounge/swing/jazz music vibe and can listen to my Brian Setzer and Harry Connick Jr. Christmas albums all year long.
