You're not alone impalcey!  I haven't started yet either...but I've been thinking a lot about it, does that count?

I'm TOTALLY lost on the anus.  (I LOVE that I just typed that sentence.)

Here: Next knit every stitch together with a stitch from the cast-on edge, slipping cast-on stitches from waste yarn onto the spare dpn as needed.

When you say "every stitch" do you mean I am knitting each bottom stitch (those on my needles) to a corresponding cast on stitch?  (One needle stitch to each cast on stitch?)  And, if this is right, am I knitting them into one stitch (as in, decreasing?) Or am I totally lost?

Got my bag last night too!  It's fun burnt orange courderoy with cool applique. Thanks sugarhandgrenade!!! Will post photos tomorrow, because, like knittinggoddess, I can't find my battery charger so I either have to bite the bullet and buy a new one or keep wasting my money on batteries...aah the wonders of technology.
36  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Blackberry from Knitty KAL on: October 31, 2005 08:39:57 AM
Wow. Nice work irid3sc3nt.  I'm also glad to hear about the blocking, since I'm making the XS...mostly because I knit half a sleeve in medium and decided that I could wear it as a shirt...so I frogged it and started over.  Now I've knit all the main pieces and am on my second sleeve.

Here's my problem: my cables aren't so great.  Anyone have any suggestions about keeping both sides of the cables the same tension?  My cables are really tight on the right side (when you go from purling to knitting) and really loose on the left (going from knitting to purling).  No matter what I do I can't get the tension to even out.  grrrr. Huh
