FINALLY!  I'm posting the AMAZING package that Faerietail sent me!  She went above and beyond (as many of you did...and crafted way too many items (not that I'm complaining!)

A tote bag with an inner zipper pocket, a small zippered pouch, a bookmark holder, three handmade bookmarks, and a book that's actually three books in one!

the tote bag:

all the stuff:

Thanks again Faerietail!

Isn't the applique great?

Here's the lining...great fabric.

Thanks again sugarhandgrenade!

I noticed the same typo charitable...I too think it should be K11.

here's my progress so far (forgive the lousy picture quality--the colors are much brighter in real life):

Here to show off another Mr. Dangly.

Here he is with my first Dangly--it's amazing how much smaller Dangly Jr. turned out just due to a small yarn width change.

Well, I know my partner (sugarhandgrenade) got her bag, so i'm going to go ahead and post pics...cuz i'm flaunty that way.  SHG wanted a squirrel with an acorn on a messenger bag...

Here's the front flap of the messenger bag...

Here's the inside lining

And here's a little acorn pouch i included...

Inside lining of pouch

Sounds like SHG liked it a lot...which is good, cuz I almost had to keep it for myself!

Kokoleo, your elastic tutorial inspired me to make my own!  I made it with $4 sheets I bought at a thrift store.  Here it is...

and a close up of the side pocket.

Thanks again!

Yay!  I finally finished my Mr. Dangly.  Here he is in all his glory, chillin' on the couch.  Note that I HATE seaming things up, so I ended up frogging him a couple times and then giving in and knitting all the parts except the head in the round on dpns.  Worked great!  He also has embroidered eyes in order to make him child safe.  He's going to find a new home in MN with a two year old. Smiley

And more gratuitous shots...

Here he is scaling the arm of the couch.  He's quite an active fellow...
