Maybe print the invites on white whoopee cushions, or have them spring out of those fake peanut cans that shoot out plastic snakes.....

Just buy some old stuffed animals at a thrift store or yard sale, gut them, and use their fur. As an added bonus you now have stuffing for pillows and such!
